WHAT IS IJMBE:
It is of the acronym Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination (IJMBE), It is an Approved, Proven & Certified Advanced level programme moderated by Ahmadu Bello University and having coordinating body in various tertiary institutions and different affiliated study centres nationwide. The programme is specifically designed to provide an opportunity for candidates who cannot gain admission to regular degree programmes in Nigerian Universities for one reason or the other, as the programme only requires candidates O'level results, also awaiting result candidates can Enrol.
- Approved: By the Federal Government has a platform for securing admission into higher institution in the country and abroad.
- Proven: Yearly, about 20,000 applicants put in for the programme in which more than 70% fraction successfully secure admission with it into 200 level to their preferred institution & course of study.
- Certified: By Nigeria University Commission (NUC) has an Advanced level examination that qualify students into 200level via Direct Entry.
HOW IJMBE WORKS:
Prospective IJMBE candidates are required to select any THREE (3) A/L IJMBE Subject Combination(English language compulsory) identified with their preferred course of study in the university be it Science, Art or Social Science Course. Candidates would then be lectured for the stipulated period at their respective Study Centre and thereafter sit for the final examination. On completion of the programme, successful candidates accordingly utilize their IJMBE certificate to secure admission into 200level in any Nigeria tertiary institution via Direct Entry.

Candidates are to note that their combination of subjects meet the requirements (as applicable) for admission into Degree Programmes in the Arts , Social Sciences, Management Sciences and Sciences courses in all IJMBE-affiliated universities in Nigeria.

IJMBE O'level Examination Subjects:
The Ordinary Level examination is meant to remedy deficiencies in English Language and Mathematics at the same level in the WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or Cambridge (CIE) results, As students having deficiencies in O/Level English Language and Mathematics in their WAEC, NECO or NABTEB examinations can sit for these subjects. You can register for one or both O/Level subjects, depending on the number of deficiencies, These subjects are to be chosen from the list provided below;

PROGRAMME DURATION:
IJMBE A'level programme runs for a maximum period of one academic session(9-12month) divided in two(2) semesters.
PROGRAMME ELIGIBILITY:
The programme is open to all interested candidates nationwide and any course can be offered be it Science, Art or Social Science.

IJMBE LEGIBILITY / UNIVERSITIES ACCEPTING IJMBE:
IJMBE certificate is presently recognised and accepted in more than 80% of Nigeria federal, state and private Universities. The Federal Government, through its various educational agencies, recognize IJMBE as an examining body for both Ordinary and Advanced Level Examinations. The syllabus is approved by the National Education Research and Development Council (NERDC) and the IJMBE examination result are listed among the acceptable modes of entry in the JAMB brochure (check item 2.2 to confirm IJMBE legibility). - Does IJMBE have an Official Website?
Currently No. We (IJMBE Consultancy Services) serve as a registered educational agency partnering with various accredited IJMB study centres nationwide, with the sole aim of registering interested IJMB applicants to various IJMB centre that is closer to their location, that's the fair advantage we have over others.

It shoud be noted that IJMBE is owned and moderated by Ahmadu Bello University zaria, thus in a way to spread the operationability and acceptability of the programme, It thereby gives affiliation to different other institutions among study centers nationwide. As explained above, with various websites springing up everyday you are mostly likely to be seeing different numbers online giving you diverse information about the programme. Another reason we have so many IJMB websites and numbers online is because of Agents. Yes, we do have IJMBE agents who tends to solicite for registration of interested applicants by posting their numbers on different websites, blog, forum, social media etc in return of getting a commission.

- How Long is my IJMB result Valid?
IJMBE certificate are valid for life compared to JAMB(UTME) that expires after a year.
- Why do we have so many IJMBE examination failure?
This is caused by applicants refusal to study in the right study center either due to Ignorance, distance or financial budget.
- Why do i recieve sms of different bank accounts for IJMB registration?
Most often than none, this is because you have called and spoken with different IJMB numbers online, thereby giving you diverse information. You are warned never to pay any amount, no matter how small to personal account e.g Mr. Ebong Chinke, but pay only to account name which bears corresponding name as of the organisation.
- How many IJMB study centre exist in a states/city?
Most often than none, more than one IJMBE study centres exists in a state. Thus, most prospective applicant do thinks IJMB are all the same in any state/city. Therefore, if you had register with us before to a particular centre in a state and later misplaced our contacts, their is 90% chances that if you go online to search for such you might end up speaking with another centre at a different location. Thus, you are advised to follow our social media platforms for updates.
- I was told ilorin is the only accredited IJMBE centre?
No, their is no iota of truth in it. IJMBE accredited institution among other study centres operates in different locations nationwide.
- I want to study at UNILORIN, does it mean my centre has to be in ilorin?
No, please note that IJMBE programme leading to the award of its certificate can be done at any location and be used for admission at any preferred university nationwide.
- I already applied for JAMB, can i still apply for IJMBE?
Yes, this give such applicants multiple choice of admission.
- How guaranteed is the admission into 200level?
Basically, IJMBE is for the serious students, as yearly more than 90% of students who registered with us succesfully secure admission into their preferred university and course. Hence, our partnership with differents institutions gives our applicants higher advantages.

- When am I to pay my tuition fee?
Tuition fee are to be paid either partly or in whole at applicant respective choosen study centres upon arrival for clearance and/or resumption. Thus, we encourage applicants to have financial possession of their fees before the clearance and/or resumption date on their registration printout.
- Why are your partnering study centres addresses not disclosed before registration?
This is so because, all our accredited partnering study centres has limited numbers of students its can accommodate. Thus, candidates are expected to choose a centre of his/her choice depending on the centres that are still available (i.e not yet filled up) at the time of such registration. Therefore, it is advisable for prospective candidates to register in time, in other to meet up to their desired study centre location.
