WHAT IS SAT:

It is of the acronym Scholastic Aptitude Test,It is globally recognized as college admission test that lets you show colleges what you know and how well you can apply that knowledge. Almost all colleges and universities use the SAT to make admission decisions.The SAT I (General SAT) and SAT II (Subject SAT) Tests are a suite of tools designed to assess your academic readiness for college. These exams provide a path to opportunities, financial support and scholarships, in a way that’s fair to all students.


HOW IT WORKS:

Most people take the SAT test as a prerequisite for admission into colleges and universities that lets you show colleges what you know and how well you can apply that knowledge.


SAT LEGIBILITY:

The SAT is administered by the Educational Testing Service (ETS) in the United States and is developed, published, and scored by the College Board.


SAT TEST STRUCTURE:

The SAT I (General SAT) measures Verbal, Mathematical and Writing skills. The test intends to primarily aid Undergrad Schools to assess the potential of the applicants for advanced study. Universities in the US, while inviting applications from prospective students, ask for SAT I scores.
The SAT II (Subject SAT) are designed to measure a student’s knowledge and skills in particular subject areas, as well as his ability to apply that knowledge. Students who want to apply to the Top 15-20 universities in the US are required to take SAT Subject Test. The SAT II is a set of more than 20 different tests focusing on specific disciplines such as English, History and Social Sciences, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, and Foreign Languages.


SAT ELIGIBILITY:

The test is open to all interested candidates nationwide who which to further their education at top 15-20 universities in the USA.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)

  • Who can attend SAT I?
    The SAT 1 or SAT as it is commonly known is a required test for students who wish to apply for admission into a university in the United States. It is usually taken by high school students in their 10th, 11th or 12th grades. Local students in the upper secondary as well as junior college levels may also take this test.
  • Who can attend SAT II?
    The SAT II subject tests are required for students who intend to apply to more competitive universities in the United States. Most universities require any 3 SAT II subject tests to be taken while some universities may specify the exact tests to be taken. Usually, more competitive schools will require specific SAT II tests for students applying to specific faculties. For example, an Engineering faculty might specifically require the SAT II Physics and/or Math IIC. As a general rule, always check with the University of your Choice to find out what exactly are the requirements before sitting for the subject tests.
  • How does SAT II differ from SAT I
    SAT I is largely a test of verbal and math skills. True, you need to know some vocabulary and some formulas for the SAT I, but it’s designed to measure how well you read and think rather than what you know. The SAT II is very different. It’s designed to measure what you know about specific disciplines. Sure, critical reading and thinking skills play a part on these tests, but their main purpose is to determine exactly what you know about writing, math, history, chemistry, and so on.
  • When is the SAT held?
    SAT® is held 7 times in a year: January, March, May, June, October, November and December.
  • How Long Does It Take to Get my SAT Scores?
    It will take up to 3 weeks to view it on the web and close to a month to receive it as a mail.
  • How Long is my SAT Scores Valid?
    It varies state by state but can be valid up to five (5) years before they expire.
  • How Much Does It Cost To Register and Coach for SAT EXAM?
